More of the finest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive coverage is coming to the CS:GO Pro League with the introduction of the Asia-Pacific division. ESL and WESA are happy to announce the league’s expansion into the APAC region with the addition of Southeast Asia, China, Australia and New Zealand in Season 7, and intend to further expand the program into additional territories within the region as well as create a full league system in the future.
The open qualifiers allow for everyone to participate with their team of five players! Every open qualifier is a single-elimination bracket playing BO1 and swapping to BO3 from the quarter-finals on. The winner of every open qualifier proceeds to the closed qualifier of their region.
The season matches feature the two open qualifier winners and six directly invited teams in an eight-teams double-elimination bracket with each match being a BO3. The top three teams from China as well as ANZ and the top two of SEA qualify to the APAC finals at the ESL Studios in Sydney April 20-22.
